Intro:
Some text was lost in translation from the old common tongue.
After the fall of the empire country of Levon, many new races appeared in Gaelia. These races searched to start a new life after the fall of the Levon empire. They attempted to step into our lands, only to be greeted by the creatures of our lands.
Humans: Ah yes, the humans. The most diverse of the many races. They welcome everyone into their lands. They also were the most adaptable race to come here to Gaelia. They had such life spans, usually only making it to their 80's. Such a short life could be the reason the Humans have a slight lack of respect for history. The creators of common, they tend to only learn that, but many have gone off to learn languages of the other races, even long lost ones.
Dwarves: The hardy Dwarves. War hardened let this race take a beating. Tending to live in cities deep in the mountains, the Dwarves have a vast knowledge of the earth's secrets. Known for their skill in drinking and their treasures. As they fight, they use careful courage and tenacity, making them perfect for travels into dangerous lands. They speak their Dwarven, which has its own runic script. Dwarves tend to live up to 400 years.
Elves: The long living Elves. Poetry, dance, song, lore, and magical arts; most came from the Elves. Preferring things to be natural and simple. Elves brought the skill in blade and bow to most of the world. Living in their woodland homes, hidden along the trees, they tend to stay calm and focused, but when the need be, they can get furious. Speaking their fluid, subitle, and intricate language, many Bards take the Elven tongue to make songs. Elves tend to live to be 700 years of age.
The rest is lost to time.
Chapter 1: Into the Fire
Ah yes, their first few travels into these lands were full of dangers. They didn't know what was going to come next. No matter how many of them died, they always had someone step up to take the job next.
Humans traveled to these lands first. The other races rarely came here until later times, after land was finally made peaceful.

"Move! It is coming!" Thirty men, dressed in chain mail armor, raced into a pair of hills.
A loud roar echoed out of the hills. For such a short roar, it felt like it lasted for hours.
Three of the men got to the front of the group, than took off. They wanted the reward. As they reached the edge of the hills, one of them yelled out, "For Azura!" Just as he raised his sword into the air, to honor his yell, fire ripped into his body. His flesh burned as the fire engulfed the other two men.
The other twenty-seven men stopped in their tracks. The sight of their fallen comrades being burned alive, dieing in seconds, left a horrid shock across their faces.
Two of the men turned tail and ran off. They would rather live then die to whatever had killed the three so easily. One man tried to chase after them, to bring them back.
"Let them run. More reward money for the rest of us!" yelled Kojak.
Kojak, he lead many of the campaigns out here in Gaelia. Had countless kills at this point, the men looked up to him.
Kojack raced ahead, proving that his men shouldn't have fear. As he emerged from the hills, he finally saw what had killed the three men.
"Come on Iz. We have to catch up!" Yelled Lek over the roar of the crowd.
Lek and Iz. Both really young men. Only at the age of 17. Neither really knew any of the dangers this land would bring. Neither listened to the tales of Titans, Demons, and the Undead. They thought it would just be bears or something.
As the two jogged to catch up, being the last to make it out of the hills, they saw what the others did. As they looked across the large open field, most of the men that came here, were dead. The grass burned, the sky had turned dark, the flesh of those dead men burned.
Both men dropped their weapons when they finally saw what had killed the men. Nothing would have prepared them for this moment. Nothing would have made them ready to combat this.
As the fear took over, the flame rushed up their bodies. Just as they died, they looked up at their killer, at the monster that killed them. They watched it as their bodies burned, they watched it until they died. They watched the dragon that killed twenty-eight of Levon's best men.
Well, I'll update this when I come up with more chapters. Or you could watch me on dA as that will be where I upload it to firts.
